The roots of Underwater Sunshine, featuring

How about this morning on roots of UNDERWATER SUNSHINE we toss out a little drunken asskicking music. Dig dig The Faces (“Ooh La La”) rocking “Stay With Me” from A NOD IS AS GOOD AS A WINK…TO A BLIND HORSE (1971). People, had anyone ever kicked the living shit out of a song quite like this?

Here’s another killer Faces (“Ooh La La”) tune from roots of UNDERWATER SUNSHINE. This is “Sweet Lady Mary” from LONG PLAYER (1971). It’s one of the prettiest songs The Faces ever recorded. Most of these ended up on Rod’s solo albums. Dig Ron Woods gorgeous guitar work.
